Accommodations
If you are interested in coming to visit our community in Jesup, Georgia, we’d love to see you. We offer a range of accommodation options, all of which come with the shared Homestead amenities. In return for sharing our home, guests are encouraged to share in the community ideal - helping out where they can. If you already have a Skoolie or any other Home on wheels and need space to work on it, the Homestead offers space, like-minded people and support.
boondocking/Solar-powered
We offer a range of sunny sites on our property, all of which offer generous space to spread out and make yourself comfortable. If you are just passing through, we have the perfect setting. You may boondock up to 3 nights for free, (no power or water use and have your own bathroom). See pricing page for more options.
onsite bus build/D.I.y.
We offer sunny and shaded spots for you to work on your DIY build yourselves for up to six months, Do It Yourself (DIY) sites. Each DIY spot is $650 per month, our Monthly Membership Fee. Each DIY spot has a 20 or 30 amp electric service, along with use of all that our Homestead has to offer. Advice and assistance on your builds from Homesteader owner, Brett and current DIY’ers is available as well as use of The Homestead Shop and as long as you are a skilled tool user, if not Brett can show you how to use certain tools and use of our onsite Clubhouse with 2 full bathrooms and full kitchen. If needing work done by Brett, $65/hour.
cabin, Tiny Cabin, Camper Membership Upgrades
Cabin
Our cabin has a small refrigerator, air conditioning and heat, a sink, a microwave and just steps away from our outhouse with a flushing toilet, everything you need to call home while you work on your bus-build project. The monthly membership fee upgrade for use of the cabin is $300. We also have an Vintage Hi-Lo camper available with 2 beds, couches, kitchen sink, small fridge, air conditioning, power and water for $250 monthly membership fee Upgrade. And we have yet a third Tiny Cabin that has 2 twin beds, microwave, mini fridge, air conditioning and power and water available for a monthly membership fee Upgrade of $200. In addition to your bus build spot, power and water included, monthly membership fee of $650 for up to six (6) months.
